<p>Wanmin Qiang, Professor of Nursing, director of Nursing Department in Tianjin Medical
University Cancer Institute & Hospital, Chairman of the Youth Committee of Chinese
Association of Nurses in Oncology under Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Vice-Chairman
of Oncology Nursing Committee in Chinese Nursing Association, Honorary Chairman of
Oncology Nursing Committee for Tianjin Nursing Association. She is the editorial member
of Chinese Journal of Nursing, Chinese Nursing Management, Tianjin Journal of Nursing
and Journal of Nurses Training. As the tutor of Professional master degree in Tianjin
Medical University and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, her
researches focus on rehabilitation for breast cancer, palliative care and nursing
management.
She has taken part in several research programs about nursing management, rehabilitation
for breast cancer, hospice care and palliative care, and many of thoes have been
confirmed by Tianjin Medical University and Tianjin Health Bureau. She developed a
method to grade the nursing risk for clinical departments in cancer hospitals, which has
guided and been applied in the risk grading, performance allocation and human resource
allocation in clinical departments. She established the index system for nursing quality
evaluation in cancer hospitals by Delphi technique. She explored the effect of Microwave
Therapy combined with Intermittent Pneumatic Compression pump for breast cancer patients
, carried out the investigation on the sexual health level for breast cancer patients
during chemotherapy, which provide scientific theoretical basis for the nursing staff to
provide individualized health education. The whole-prosess integrated breast cancer
rehabilitation nursing model and the breast cancer patients’ discharge plan model were
constructed and applied in breast cancer departments.
The project “Nursing Research on the Effect of Systematic Exercise on the Rehabilitation
of Breast Cancer Patients after Adjuvant Chemotherapy” in 2010 was approved by the
Scientific and Technological Achievements of Tianjin Health Bureau. The project “Nursing
Research on reducing subclavian CVC catheter related infection in gastric cancer
patients” in 2011 was approved by the Scientific and Technological Achievements of
Tianjin Health Bureau. The project “The Model Construction and Clinical Application
Research of Whole-process Integrated Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Nursing” in 2014 was
awarded the Nurture Project (category B) of the National Center for Clinical Medicine of
Oncology, and was successfully concluded in 2017. The research “The Application of EKG
Tip Positioning Method in PICC Catheterization” was introduced into Tianjin to fill in
the gap of technology in 2015. The project “Nursing Research on Systematic Intervention
for Breast Cancer related Lymphedema” in 2016 was approved by the Tianjin Science and
Technology Commission. The research “The Model Construction of Discharge Plan for Breast
Cancer Patients” was awarded the 2017 Hospital Management Innovation Research Project of
Tianjin Medical University, and two national utility model patents were awarded in 2017.
She has published more than 50 papers as the first or corresponding author, the
published journals including Chinese Journal of Nursing,Chinese Journal of
Nosocomiology, Tianjin Journal of Nursing, Journal of Nurses Training, Journal of
Nursing Science, Journal of Clinical Nursing, Cancer Nursing and BMC Complementary and
Alternative Medicine. She has published seveal books as chief editor and translator,
such as Practical Nursing Technology, Standards for Hospital Nursing Management and
Quality Assessment, Oncology Diseases Community Care and Self-management, 446 Questions
of Nursing for Breast Cancer Patients, How Much I Know about Cancer -Oncology Nursing”,
“Oncology Nursing”, “The Humanistic Care in the Nursing” and “Putting Evidence into
Practice - A Pocket Guide to Cancer Symptom Management”, ect.

<p>Ling Yan, Director of Nursing Department , Deputy chief nurse ,Postgraduate tutors of
Tianjin Medical University and Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the
Reviewers of the Journal of Evidence based Nursing，the member of Chinese Nursing
Association and the vice-chairman of education committee of Tianjin Nursing Association.
Research direction involves Symptom Management, Nursing Education and Informatization of
nursing. Besides, She has undertaken 3 subjects and published almost 30 papers. As the
first tutor, she has trained 5 postgraduate nursing students and 7 graduate students .
Meanwhile, She undertake courses such as Evidence-based Care and Health Management, and
has been chosen as excellent teacher of Tianjin Medical University, Tianjin University
of traditional Chinese Medicine for many years. Besides，She was responsible for teaching
the continuing education course of Tianjin Nursing Association, and had taught more than
10 times every year in Tianjin major hospitals. As the editorial board of Nursing
Oncology and Evidence-based clinical practice, She actively participate in the writing
and proofreading of books. She’s also one of the review experts of the Journal of

<p>Professor Fengqi Dong is the Head Nurse of Department of Hepatobiliary and the Surgical
Head Nurse of Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital, for almost 30
years. Currently her role entails oversight of the clinical care delivery for abdominal
cancer and advanced cancer patients. She is a master student’s supervisor of Tianjin
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Chairman of Tianjin Nursing Society -
Surgical Nursing Session. She has been serving as a judge for national, provincial and
municipal nursing skill competitions for many years. She has published five book
chapters, such as Nursing Oncology, Nursing Skills, and has over 20 peer-reviewed
journal papers on cancer, among which including three SCI papers. She is widely invited
to speak at national and international conferences. Currently, she is an editor and
reviewer for several journals, including Nursing Research, Chinese Nursing Management,
and Journal of Nursing Science. She received five research grants and one technological
